Facilities

The Club was founded in 1974 to provide a first class water skiing facility for boat owners in the area who previously had to travel considerable distances to ski.

The club has now developed into such a prestigious site that boat owners now travel considerable distances in order to ski at the club. The club is affiliated to the British Water Ski Federation.

Life is made easy with a purpose built slipway, ample jetty space, boat storage, caravan site and swimming and play area for the children. The clubhouse has a licensed bar offering a varied menu. Every couple of weeks there is a function at the club involving a live band or a disco.

The club is already the largest in the county as far as its membership

goes and is fast becoming the most exclusive in the south-west.

Kids Swimming Area

The site consists of a large lake that has been divided by an earth bund creating a perfect competition style arena with full slalom course. This allows the remainder of the water for recreation skiing by up to five boats at a time.

The club has an LPG fuelling pontoon. CWSC recommend that if you are looking to buy a new or used Tournament Ski Boat, consider converting your boat to Gas. Its cheaper to run an helps prevent harmful emissions and fuel spillage
